Two products won the first place in the MondoAlternative Awards 2022

Kairos Partners SGR stood out in the 2022 edition of the MondoAlternative Awards, thanks to two products:

• the Kairos International Sicav Italia PIR sub-fund, winner as Best Liquid Alternative Long / Short Equity Europe Fund 2021 and Best Liquid Alternative Long / Short Equity Europe Fund 3-year (2019-2021);
• the Kairos Multi-Strategy Class A fund, awarded as the Best Fund of Hedge Funds 2021.

This is a further recognition, which generally increases Kairos’ palmarès for 2022. Specifically, for the KIS Italia PIR fund, it is a further award that recognises the commitment of Kairos always on one of the main investment themes that last year, also thanks to the PNRR (the Italian “National Recovery and Resilience Plan”), proved to be winning: “the positive performance of the Fund in recent years was the result of active management and equity exposure, sector selection, guided by reasoning with macro and stock picking, guided by the study of the company’s fundamentals”, as confirmed by Massimo Trabattoni, Head of Italian Equity and Fund Manager, which from next April 1 will be renamed “KIS Made in Italy” precisely to underline its most distinctive features.

On the other hand, the team dedicated to Funds of Funds, led by Moreno Tatangelo and Mario Unali, welcomed the award with enthusiasm and satisfaction, saying that “the selection of managers who stand out on the market, stocks and sectors based on of the fundamentals remains one of our strengths”.

Now in its nineteenth edition, the MondoAlternative Awards annually assign prices to hedge funds under Italian law, alternative liquid funds and platforms for third party managers of alternative liquid funds. The awards were assigned, in addition to the results at 12 months (2021), also to 3 years ones (2019 – 2021).
